By Representative Coppinger of Boston and Senator Rush, a joint petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 4231) of Edward F. Coppinger (with the approval of the mayor and city council) for legislation to authorize the city of Boston to issue a seven day license for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises.  Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure.  [Local Approval Received.]

An Act relative to a liquor license for the Irish Social Club, Inc, in the City of Boston.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1: Notwithstanding any limitations on the number of licenses to be issued under the provisions of section seventeen of chapter one hundred and thirty-eight of the General Laws, but subject however, to all other provisions of said chapter, the licensing board for the City of Boston is hereby authorized to issue to the Irish Social Club, Inc, of Boston, an annual seven (7) day club all alcoholic beverage license.
