By Mr. Hecht of Watertown, a petition (subject to Joint Rule 12) of Jonathan Hecht, William N. Brownsberger and John J. Lawn, Jr. for legislation to designate a certain corner in the town of Watertown as Menton Corner.  State Administration and Regulatory Oversight.

An Act designating a certain corner in the town of Watertown as Menton Corner.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

The intersection of Grove Street and Greenough Boulevard in the town of Watertown shall be designated and known as Menton Corner in honor of Judge Paul C. Menton, a World War II veteran, State Representative, and District Court judge who played a key role in creating this connection between East Watertown and Greenough Boulevard and the parklands adjacent thereto. The department of conservation and recreation shall erect and maintain a suitable marker bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
