An Act Designating a certain Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority station in the town of Scituate as the Frank M. Hynes Station at Greenbush.
Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to designate a certain Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority station in the town of Scituate as the Frank M. Hynes Station at Greenbush, , therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority shall designate the Greenbush Station in the Town of Scituate as "The Frank M. Hynes Station at Greenbush". The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority shall erect and maintain suitable markers bearing that designation in compliance with the standards of the authority. There will be a one-time disbursement of funds to be used for the creation of the signs at the station itself, which will continue to be abbreviated as "The Greenbush Station," on all DOT materials.
