An Act clarifying warehousing.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 4 of Chapter 239 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting at the end of subsection (a) the following:-
The term “warehouser or other storage facility” shall be defined as a public warehouse licensed and bonded pursuant to section 1 of chapter 105 and located within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and within a 20 mile radius of the land or tenements from which the personal property is removed.
