In the Year Two Thousand Twelve

An Act authorizing Adam A. Seguin to take the civil service examination for appointment as a police officer in the town of Ware notwithstanding the maximum age requirement.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding chapter 31 of the General Laws or any other general or special law, or rule or regulation to the contrary regulating the maximum age of an applicant for appointment to the position of a police officer, Adam A. Seguin of the town of Ware shall be eligible to take the next open, competitive examination for appointment as a police officer in the town of Ware and, provided that he meets all other requirements, shall be eligible for certification and appointment to such position.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
