An Act relative to conforming with the federal Adam Walsh Act juvenile registration and dissemination requirements.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 1. Section 178C of chapter 6 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, in line 41, after the words “who has been convicted of a sex offense or who” the following:-
“was aged 14 or over at the time of the offense and”
Said section is further amended by inserting, in line 42, after the words, “by reason of a sex offense” the following:-
“that is comparable to or more severe than aggravated sexual abuse as defined in 18 U.S.C. 2241,”
