By Representative Haddad of Somerset and Senator Rodrigues, a joint petition (subject to Joint Rule 12) of Patricia A. Haddad and Michael J. Rodrigues for legislation to establish a sick leave bank for Judith Rocha, an employee of the Department of Children and Families.  Public Service.

In the Year Two Thousand Twelve

An Act establishing a sick leave bank for Judith Rocha, an employee of the Department of Children and Families.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Notwithstanding any general or special law or rule or regulation to the contrary, the Department of Children and Families shall establish a sick leave bank for Judith Rocha, an employee of the Department of Children and Families. An employee of the Department of Children and Families may voluntarily contribute 1 or more sick, personal or vacation days to the sick leave bank for use by Judith Rocha. Whenever Judith Rocha terminates employment with the Department of Children and Families or requests to dissolve the sick the leave bank, the balance of the sick leave time shall be transferred to the Department of Children and Families paid sick leave bank. Sick leave bank days shall not be used for absences unrelated to the illness or disability that necessitated the establishment of the sick leave bank as determined by the Department of Children and Families.
