An Act relative to financial requirements of business, correspondence and trade schools.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 1.Section 1A of Chapter 75C, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended in line 23 by adding the following sentence:
“The State Auditor may adopt regulations, issue guidelines and prescribe forms to carry out the provisions of this section and section four.”
Section 2.Section 4 of Chapter 75C, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended in line 6 by striking the “and not more than one hundred thousand dollars”
Section 3.Section 4 of Chapter 75C, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended in line 56 by striking the words “doing business in the commonwealth” and inserting in its place the following;
legally authorized to do business in the commonwealth.
Section 4.Section 3 of Chapter 75D, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended in line 24 by adding the following sentence:
“The State Auditor may adopt regulations, issue guidelines and prescribe forms to carry out the provisions of this section and section fourteen.”
Section 5.Section 14 of Chapter 75D, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended in line 11 by striking the words “and not more than one hundred thousand dollars”
Section 6.Section 14 of Chapter 75D, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended in line 61 by striking the words “doing business in the commonwealth” and inserting in its place the following”;
legally authorized to do business in the commonwealth
Section 7.Section 20A of Chapter 93, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended in line 23 by adding the following sentence:
“The State Auditor may adopt regulations, issue guidelines and prescribe forms to carry out the provisions of this section and section twenty-one F.”
Section 8.Section 21F of Chapter 93, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended in line 6 by striking the words “and not more than one hundred thousand dollars”
Section 9.Section 21F of Chapter 93, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended in line 6 by striking the words “doing business in the commonwealth” and inserting in its place the following;
legally authorized to do business in the commonwealth
