An Act relative to residency.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 99A, of Chapter 41 of the General Laws as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition is hereby amended by adding after the word “agreement” in line 18, the words “provided further that members of a regular police or fire department appointed subsequent to the adoption of such local ordinance, by-law or collective bargaining agreement shall be bound by such collective bargaining agreement, ordinance, or by-law for a period not to exceed five years.”
