An Act eliminating transit fares for certain members of the armed services and their dependents..
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
No public transportation authority shall charge a fare for any member of the armed services or any dependent of such member while such member is on active service during the duration of America’s War on Terrorism. Each such authority shall establish rules and procedures to carry out the purposes of this act.
