An Act relative to the order of placement of a certain person on the civil service eligibility list
By Mr. O'Flaherty of Chelsea, a petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 2967) of Eugene L. O'Flaherty relative to the placement of any son of Robert Martinello, a firefighter of the city of Chelsea, on the civil service list for fire service. Public Service.
Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to to immediately make a certain person eligible for appointment to the fire service, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience., therefore, it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
