An Act banning billboards on MBTA property in the city of Quincy.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority or its successors, including but not limited to the Division of Public Transit in the Massachusetts Surface Transportation Authority shall be prohibited from constructing, erecting, placing and/or maintaining any off premises sign(s) which is a sign that advertises or announces a use conducted or goods provided that are available elsewhere than within the building and/or structure and/or the lot on which the sign(s) is located within the City of Quincy.
