An Act relative to penalties for the operation of an unsafe elevator.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

                  Section 71 of chapter 143 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the words “not more than five hundred”, in lines 3 and 4, and inserting in place thereof the following words:- up to $5,000.
