In the Year Two Thousand Eleven

An Act relative to the civil service eligibility of the son of a retired firefighter.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Notwithstanding any general or special law or rule or regulation to the contrary, David L. Grafton, son of James M. Grafton, a retired firefighter of the city of Chelsea, shall be considered the son of a firefighter who sustained injuries resulting in permanent disability leave while in the performance of his duties and as a result of an assault on his person as set forth in section 26 of chapter 31 of the General Laws, for the purpose of civil service eligibility for the position of firefighter.
