An Act regarding critical shortage waivers for public school teachers.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 32 Section 91(e) of the general laws is hereby amended by adding the following sentence at the end of the section:-
In the case of a critical shortage waiver, a teacher may not begin work until a copy of the waiver has been received by the teacher or notification has been received in writing by the teacher that the waiver has been granted.
