An Act relative to continuing education requirements for oil burner technicians..

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 67A of chapter 146 of the General Laws, as so appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the first paragraph the following paragraph:-

The department shall promulgate regulations which shall require the renewal of such certifications every two years.  Commencing with the renewal of certification on July 1, 2011, all individuals certified by the commonwealth as an oil burner technician shall demonstrate the satisfactory completion of continuing education courses as determined by the department.
