An Act expanding senior tax reductions for volunteer services.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

                SECTION 1.  section 5K of chapter 59 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting at the end of the first sentence of the first paragraph the following clause:-

“Or to qualifying homebound persons over the age of 60 as determined by the city or towns’ council on aging or in cities or towns without a council on aging, other such board, department, committee or council as deemed appropriate. “
