An Act relative to uniform expiration dates..
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. The Executive Office of Consumer Protection and Business Regulation shall conduct a study in conjunction with the Attorney General’s Office Division of Consumer Protection to determine a method of posting freshness expiration dates on all consumer products with such dates in a uniform, clear and conspicuous manner. Said study shall be completed no later than December 31, 2007, and shall be reported to the Joint Committee on Consumer Protection and Business Regulation including suggested legislation or regulations recommended to effectuate the findings.
