In the Year Two Thousand Eleven

An act relative to the creation of the Barnstable Yarmouth bike path.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1: Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts Department of Fish and Game is hereby authorized to transfer land to the town of Barnstable for the purposes of establishing a public bike path.
SECTION 2: Said land that is eligible for transfer by the Department, shall be the lands south of Route 6, connecting Willow Street with Mary Dunn Road in the town of Barnstable and as agreed to by the town.
SECTION: This act shall take effect upon passage.
