An Act relative to certain utility rates.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

                SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the department of public utilities shall not amend, augment, eliminate or change in any manner prior to December 31, 2012 the so called “Schedule PR” as referenced in the department of public utilities order DPU 97-120. 

                SECTION 2.  Any rate payer part of “Schedule PR” as defined in section one shall not be removed from said schedule without the consent of the rate payer.
