An Act relative to the observation of Veterans Day.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 52A ½ of chapter 149 of the general laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 3, 4, and 5, the words “and who desires to participate in a Veterans Day or Memorial Day exercise, parade or service shall be allowed and granted a leave of absence” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- shall be allowed and granted a leave of absence on Veterans Day and Memorial Day.
