An Act relative to the transfer of boat registration between family members..
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 3 of Chapter 90B of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting, after subsection (e), the following:-
Except when the change of ownership of the motorboat is between two family members, the previous certificate of number may be kept at the request of the new owner of the motorboat.
