An Act providing for a distinctive registration plate for Olympians.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 2 of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph: -
“The registrar shall furnish without charge to owners of private passenger motor vehicles who are a member of, or have competed as a representative of, the United States of America’s Olympic team in the Olympic Games a distinctive registration plates which shall display on their face a design depicting the “Olympic Rings”. No such plate shall be issued or renewed until proper certification has been made to the registrar by the United States Olympic Committee confirming the applicants said membership or participation.”
