An Act relative to the eligibility for veteran survivor benefits.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 2 of Chapter 115 of the General Laws as so appearing is hereby amended by inserting after the word “government” in line 16, the following new words:-- provided, however, that he shall establish no regulations, procedures or directives that will make any veteran or veteran survivor ineligible to receive benefits they would otherwise be eligible to receive solely because they failed to complete the application for said benefits within a designated period of time.
