In the Year Two Thousand Eleven

An Act authorization by a town meeting vote of certain contracts made by the town of Middleborough regarding the sale by the town of water or wastewater treatment services.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

              Notwithstanding section 4A of chapter 40 of the General Laws, or any other general or special law, rule

or regulation to the contrary, any agreement for a term of more than 2 years made by the town of

Middleborough with any other governmental unit regarding sale by the town of water or wastewater

service shall be subject to authorization by vote of a town meeting.
