In the Year Two Thousand Eleven

An Act authorizing the board of selectmen of the town of Middleborough to impose reasonable fees for the employment of outside consultants in connection with the review of earth removal applications.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

              SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding any general or special law, rule, regulation or by-law to the contrary, the

board of selectmen of the town of Middleborough may impose reasonable fees for the employment of

outside consultants under section 53G of chapter 44 of the General Laws in connection with its review

of earth removal permit applications under the town’s earth removal by-law and regulations.

              SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
