An Act validating certain elections in the town of Dudley.

 

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to validate certain elections in the town of Dudley, therefore, it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Notwithstanding sections 9A and 10 of chapter 39 of the general laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, and section 64 of chapter 54 of said general laws, or any other general or special law or bylaw to the contrary, all votes, acts and proceedings taken by the town of Dudley at the May 5, 2003 annual town election, the March 2, 2004 presidential primary, the November 2, 2004 presidential and statewide election, and the May 4, 2009 annual town election are hereby ratified, validated and confirmed, notwithstanding any defect or omission with regard to the warrant for the election.
