An Act designating certain bridges in the town of Bourne as the Staff Sergeant Matthew A. Pucino bridges..

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. The bridges identified by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation as B-17-027 (5YK), ST 3 NB and B-17-027 (B11), ST 3 SB spanning U.S. Route 6 in the town of Bourne shall be designated and known as the Staff Sergeant Matthew A. Pucino Bridge, in honor of Staff Sergeant Matthew A. Pucino, a decorated hero of the war on terrorism who was killed in action in Afghanistan. The division of highways in the Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain suitable markers bearing that designation in compliance with the standards of the division.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
