An Act relative to special education enrollment.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 2 of chapter 70 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking the third and fourth definitions and inserting in place thereof the following definitions:- "Assumed tuitioned-out special education enrollment", the prior 5 year district average percentage of students included in foundation enrollments on Special Education Individual Education Plan whom the district has placed in out of district placements.

"Assumed in school special education enrollment", the prior 5 year district average percentage of students included in foundation enrollments on Special Education Individual Education Plans who attend district schools.
