An Act authorizing municipalities to petition for public involvement plans in cases of hazardous material sites..

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 14 of chapter 21E of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2000 official edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word "located", in line 2, the following words:-, or a majority of the board of selectmen in a town, or a majority of the city council and mayor in a city subject to the city charter, in which a site is located,
