An Act concerning insurer's liability for losses while under the influence..

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. In G.L. Chapter 176O by inserting after section 16 the following new section:

Section 16A. No carrier may deny coverage under any health benefit plan by virtue of the fact that the insured was under the influence of alcohol or drugs not prescribed by a physician at the time an injury was incurred.
