An Act relative to the provider’s council.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of subsections (b), (c) or (f) of section 12 of chapter one hundred seventy six J or any other general or special law to the contrary, Massachusetts Council of Human Services Providers, Inc., a Massachusetts charitable corporation, shall be deemed a “qualified association” and an approved “small business group purchasing cooperative,” both as defined in section 1 of chapter one hundred seventy-six J, and as such may procure health care coverage for qualified association members subject only to the provisions of subsections (a), (d) and (e) of section 12 of chapter one hundred seventy-six J and section 13 of chapter one hundred seventy-six J.
