An Act requiring the Division of Medical Assistance to provide adequate rates.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 11 of Chapter 118G (b) of the general laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following new sentence:
“The Division of Medical Assistance shall ensure that any third party payor responsible for the provision of behavioral health benefits for medical assistance recipients provide annual rate adjustments to all network hospitals not less than the Medical Consumer Price Increase for All Urban Consumers for the most recently completed state fiscal year”.
