An Act relative to the spinal cord injury trust fund.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.   Paragraph (a) of section 59A of Chapter 10 of the Genera l Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the third sentence and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:-

Seventy-five percent of the amount of the surcharge shall be transferred by the registrar of motor vehicles to the state treasurer for deposit into the Spinal Cord Injury Trust Fund. 

SECTION 2.   The fifth paragraph of section 20 of Chapter 90 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out the fifth sentence and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:-

Seventy-five percent of the amount of the surcharge shall be transferred by the registrar of motor vehicles to the state treasurer for deposit into the Spinal Cord Injury Trust Fund.
