An Act relative to recognizing the importance of public vision awareness..

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

                SECTION 1.  Subsection (a) of section 3 of chapter 17, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition and as amended by section 5 of Chapter 58 of the Acts of 2006, is hereby amended by striking out, in the second sentence, the number “17” and inserting in place thereof, the following number: “18”. 

                SECTION 2. Subsection (c) of section 3 of chapter 17, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition and as amended by section 5 of Chapter 58 of the Acts of 2006, is herby amended by striking out the word “Six” in line 15 and inserting the following new word:- “Seven”.

                SECTION 3. Said subsection (c) of section 3 of chapter 17, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition and as amended by section 5 of Chapter 58 of the Acts of 2006, is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following new words:- “; and 1 shall be an optometrist appointed by the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists.”
