An Act providing tuition to children of state employees killed on duty..

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Chapter 15A of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 19D, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, the following section:

Section 19F.  A person who was a minor child of a state employee who as the result of an accident while in the performance of his duties was killed or sustained injuries which resulted in his death; or while in the performance of his duties and as a result of an assault on his person was killed or sustained injuries which resulted in his death, shall be entitled to a scholarship equal to the full cost of tuition, room and board upon acceptance to a?state college or university.
