An Act requiring equal benefits for all new mothers..

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

                 SECTION 1. Section 105D of chapter 149 of the 2004 Official Edition of the general laws is hereby amended by adding after the word "leave.", in line 13, the following language:-

"An employee on maternity leave for the adoption of a child shall be entitled to the same benefits offered by her employer as an employee on maternity leave for the birth of a child."
