An Act authorizing the sale of land by the Wakefield Housing Authority.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding the provisions of Chapter 121B of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the Wakefield Housing Authority is hereby authorized to sell the three authority-owned parcels of land bordering 3 Cumberland Road in Wakefield and designated as Lots 78, 79 and 80 without the proceeds from said sale being diverted to the Housing Authority Bonds Sinking Fund.  Said sale shall occur only after the Wakefield Housing Authority and the Department of Housing and Community Development issue their approval of the sale and designate how the proceeds of said sale shall be disbursed.
