An Act adopting inclusionary zoning for 40B developments.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Chapter 40B of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting, after section 21, the following section:- 

Section 21A.  All residential construction projects over 5 units must include a minimum of 25 per cent affordable units.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect on July 1, 2011.
