An Act relative to judgment and execution.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

                SECTION 34.  Chapter 235 is amended by amending the following language in Section 34 as follows:

                SECTION 34.  Fourteenth, Estates of homestead as defined in chapter one hundred and eighty-eight or, in lieu thereof, the amount of money each rental period, not exceeding one thousand two hundred dollars per month, necessary to pay the rent for the dwelling unit occupied by him and his family. 

                SECTION 34.  Sixteenth,  An automobile necessary for personal transportation or to secure or maintain employment, not exceeding three thousand two hundred-fifty dollars in value. Notwithstanding  any other section or subsection of this Chapter 235 or Chapter 188, this Section 34 of Chapter 235 shall be subordinate to, and shall include any and all exemptions provided in 11 U.S.C. § 522(c) and 11 U.S.C. § 522(f).
