Chapter 281 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following new section:- SECTION 11: Section 1. The Legislature finds that it is not, at the present time, desirable to call a federal constitutional convention to amend the Constitution of the United States. Section 2. The specific provisions of all previous Joint Resolutions making application for the calling of a federal constitutional convention, are hereby repudiated and rescinded Section 3. The repudiation and rescission provided for in this Act is strictly limited to the portions of the Joint Resolutions making application for the calling of a federal constitutional convention and do not apply to the alternative call embodied in the Joint Resolutions for Congress to propose specific constitutional amendments to the states for adoption.
