An Act relative to synthetic marijuana.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

               SECTION 1. Section 1 of chapter 94C of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, after the definition of 'Isomer", the following definition: -

"K-2" or "Spice", any form of cannabis, including synthetic compounds or structures that are molecularly similar to cannabis, shall be included in this definition.

               SECTION  2. Subparagraph (a) of paragraph (e) of section 31 of said chapter 94C is hereby amended by adding, after the words and number "(4) 1-Nitrosoxy-Mthel-Propane.", the following words and number:- (5) K-2 or Spice.

               SECTION 3. Sections 32L, 32M, and 34 of said chapter 94C, are hereby amended by inserting, after the word "marijuana", in each instance, the following words:- or K-2 or Spice.
