An Act relative to health club contracts..
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 93 of the General Laws is hereby amended in Section 80 by deleting “,shorter or longer period not to exceed thirty-six months” and inserting the following language: or shorter period. All sellers must offer both new buyers and buyers of renewed contracts a health club service contract option for a term of twelve months.
