An Act relative to paying prevailing wages to tree maintenance workers.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 26 of chapter 149 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the words "construction of public works”, in line 19, the following words:- “and in the trimming or cutting of trees on public property".

SECTION 2.  Section 27 of chapter 149, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the words "fill from such site”, in line 7, the following words:- “, and the trimming or cutting of trees on public property ".
