An Act relative to collective bargaining agreements.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 7 of chapter 150E of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out paragraph (a) in its entirety and replacing it with the following:- "No collective bargaining agreement shall contain provisions for financial increases beyond a term of three years, except that any other provision shall remain in effect until another agreement has been reached. The agreement shall be reduced to writing, executed by the parties, and a copy of such agreement shall be filed with the commission and with the house and senate committees on ways and means forthwith by the employer."
