In the Year Two Thousand Twelve

An Act relative to roadway safety for law enforcement personnel.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 24D of Chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding at the end of the third paragraph the following sentence:- "This section shall not apply to any person who caused any injury to any law enforcement personnel during the events that gave rise to the complaint or indictment for operating under the influence of alcohol.”
