An act relative to children in protective custody.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 1. Section 39H of chapter 119 of the General Laws, as most recently amended by chapter 240 of the acts of 2011, is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof the following:-
Nothing in this section shall prevent a police officer from placing a minor into protective custody under the provisions of section 8 of chapter 111B.
