An Act prohibiting towing certain motor vehicles.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 22D of chapter 40 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after second sentence the following sentence:- No vehicle which is parked or standing, that contains an unsupervised animal, shall be subject to such removal.

SECTION 2.  Section 120D of chapter 266 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “removed”, in line 10, the following words:- ; provided, however, that no vehicle which is parked or standing, that contains an unsupervised animal, shall be removed from a private way or improved or enclosed property.
