An act to allow reasonable evaluation of civil damage claims.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 13B of Chapter 231 of the General Laws, as so appearing is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:
Notwithstanding the above paragraph, any party may ask at trial for a specific monetary amount for general damages and for special damages reasonably based upon the evidence presented to the fact finder.
