An Act relative to defibrillators in health clubs.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 86 of Chapter 93 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the second paragraph and entering the following sentence:-

“Absent a showing of gross negligence or willful or wanton misconduct, no cause of action against a health club or its employees may arise in connection with the use of a defibrillator.”
